The board of the Bitterballetjes have set a new course to follow. They are not pleased with having invested lots of money in mediocre Belgians, whose training plans mostly faded very early. The new goal is to be a supporting training team for multiple smaller nations with a motivated NT-coach.
De Bitterballetjes really wanted to maintain a fully Belgian squad, but the scouting department hasn't been that lucky finding great talents and those who were purchased mostly didn't reached their full, rather average potential.
Yvan Van Eijcken was attracted to replace Tom Bollaert, but turned out even more average than Bollaert. Regis Verbrugghe and Jo Vandommele never will be more than mediocre supporting CL-teammates. Benedict De Graef and Didier Tailleur were bought to train and sell, but both maxed early.
So, we will let them all go slowly with high DP off course. If anyone would be interested, they can sent a pm, but some guys must stay for a little longer due to new rules about this.
In the meantime, we're happy to announce our 'first' foreign training project. Albert Brunton has the potential to become a 190-sprinter and could help out his country Trinidad and Tobago to have some SP-riders to play with.
